when can i apply for ILR

Post by knigh7 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 12:04 pm

Hi,

I have been here for six years, but on diffrent visas

1 year -student visa
2 years - Holidaymaker
1 year -Work permit
1.5 years - HSMP

From my understanding, the student and holidaymaker visa do not count, is this correct?

Thanks,
Ahmad

Holidaymaker doesn't count. Don't know about student.

Knigh7,
The 1 year student and 2 years Holiday visa don't count.
Your clock would have started with your work permit, so for the purpose of ILR, you have now completed two and a half years.
So you are now at the half way mark.
