Will a UK visa refusal affect my Irish visa application?

I have been rejected twice for UK visa in 2009 and 2010. Will this affect my application for employment visa in Ireland? I am a Philippine passport holder. The Irish embassy also requires the letter of refusal but unfortunately the my refusal letter is with a third person who is nowhere to be found at the moment.
