Changing Job under Tier 2 ICT - Long Term Staff

Hi Manci,

One further question on this topic. As I understand from the responses, we cannot normally change employer while on ICT LT Visa.

1) However, can we do that if the salary offered is higher? If so, what is the cap?
2) Can I have the prospective employer apply for a New ICT LT Visa (or ICT G) for me while I'm still in UK?
a) If so, whether there is a salary cap to avoid cooling off period while switching employer in UK itself?

Apologize for that & Thank You for splitting it out!

I have been with a company A in Tier 2 LCT Visa from 2017 June onwards. I don't have any other history in UK. My current visa is expiring by June 2018. As I understand, it can be extended by the current employer for another 4 more years. However, I'm looking to switch to a new employer while in UK itself. Is that possible with a higher salary or any other exceptions? Or, whether company B (prospective employer) can process a new visa before June 2018 so that I can continue my stay in UK?

However, in the first link, it is mainly talking about switching from Tier2 ICT to G and the second one is a PDF with lot of details. Hence, I didnt understand the exact answer to my question.

Proposed salary would be around 75,000. If not, how much would be required?

Would that qualify to switch to a new employer under Tier2 ICT Long Term or Tier2 ICT General?

Check Q4 on the FAQ link provided by CR001. You will need a job that pays you £159,600 to move to Tier 2 General without cool-off period.

No, £159K to £120K change was for extending Tier 2 ICT beyond 5 years(and up to a total of 9 years)
