Hi All

My wife is applying for settlement depended visa from India . In the vfs web site they is an option says Keep my passport while applying with an additional fee .

Can anyone please confirm this service still available .Normal standard settlement depended visa will take 12 weeks and Priority settlement depended visa will take 30 working days .

I am also confused , where to submit the application - does all the VFS center in India accept settlement depended visa application ?. In this below link when I checked only New delhi has an option to select Settlement visa time line .

Hi All

Can anyone please advice me is it possible to apply Settlement Priority visa any VFS visa application center in India .

Below details in VFS website is very confusing

Settlement visa applications and dependent applications submitted at all visa application centers (except Jaipur, Lucknow and Goa).

When I was checking the visa-processingtime , Only in New Delhi they are showing the settlement visa option
Does that mean we need to apply only in New Delhi vfs center ??

you can apply for priority visa service at the vfs office.The online application only takes the standard visa fees and you pay the extra money at the centre when you go there for your appointment.call the vfs call centre if you have any doubts.

You should first fill in Online Application and make the Visa Fess and IHS Payment.

Once you're done with that if you still want to make the Payment Online for the settlement Priority Visa
click on this Link

On the left hand side choose settlement priority visa, it will take you to a link where you need give your GWF number and other details and make the payment online.

Could kindly help me to answer below question

I came UK in TIER General visa and in 2017 I got my ILR

What is their status in the UK? State if they hold a British Passport or a valid visa

Options :
A) Permanent Resident
B) Temporary Resident

I am not aware of any Temporary Resident type visa , or is ILR has been considered as temporary resident because it has an END date ??

Kindly let me know Which one should I choose

ILR = Settled which is permanent resident.

If you have ILR it will be permanent resident with probably Indian passport

I am planning to submit below document will that be sufficient

1. Rental agreement
2. Letter from house owner stating he is authorizing me and my wife to share the house .

You will also likely require a property inspection report.
