Accommodation - bedsit shared with child

Hi All,
I am applying for my wife's visa extension FLR(M), I am meeting all the other requirements. However we both have a baby daughter who is 1 year and 7 months old. We live in a bedsit, I believe in a bedsit only 2 people can live.

I am not sure if we will be in the category of "Allowed overcrowding" if yes, how we prove this. if anyone faced this issue please share your experience and also looking for any recommendation.

Moving from my flat is not an option at the moment as this is council owned and I am on the waiting list to be moved to a bigger property.

If you mean from bedsit is a double room then yes the child between 1-10 will be counted as half and double room usually only for 2 person forming couple. Better if you have some close friend/relative who can give you a accomodation letter if they have sufficient uncrowded accomodation.

Not sure if it is the same as a double room but we have a flat that one a single room which is our bedroom as well as living room its big (4.84m x 3.57m). We have separate Spam and bathroom.

Unfortunately do not have relatives with a big enough flat

The accommodation will be considered adequate as the living room will be included.

sorry I think I miscommunicated. I meant to say we have a single big room, there is no separate living/bedroom. Its a bedsit

Yes as per guideline living room/sitting room can be used for living purposes and can meet the requirement.
