Spouse Settlement Visa Application Meeting Question

My sister recently got married to a cousin in pakistan. On the application form for a settlement visa there is a question asking "When did you first meet your partner" as it is a cousin, over the years she has met him on several occassions on visits to pakistan. These earlier family meetings and visits were nothing to do with her meeting him as a partner, so what should be the correct answer for this question?

The date since she has known him or the date that she has known him since being introduced as a future partner.

Any help would be much appreacited.

I think the correct answer should be when they actually first ‘to have made the acquaintance of’.
