Sent on 15th Feb 2008
HO recd on 18th Feb 2008
got ref no after calling them 25152*
approved on 2 Feb 2008
recd original docs 14 Feb 2008 by royal mail
indian national applied from Switzerland.

I would like to thank everyone who helped me to get hsmp approval.

I think you have your dates wrong ? surely can't get approved (2 Feb) before the received date (18 Feb)

Of course they can! Date of approval happens before you receive your documents in the mail

They surely cannot approve an application before they receive it ....can they..??;)

I called up HO and the person informed that they can't give the status until 14 weeks of SLA is completed. They are currently processing 25th feb appln it seems. Could I request people to update your status on site www.spammer.com/uk-immigration- ... plication/
so that we will have a better clarity on timelines.....just a humble request no compulsions....

My application was received by HO on 27th Feb hence I think my appln would be very close to be assigned...fingers crossed...

Finally a good news to share with you. I have received my approval papers yesterday.

My timelines are:

Papers received HO: 18th Feb 2008
Fee debited: 19th Feb 2008
Approval Date: 10th April 2008
Papers received: 22nd April 2008

I have applied from India and need to go for Tier1 EC.

They are still dealing with applications recd upto 25th Feb, and the advisors do not give any information about the status of the application, no matter what you say. This wait is killing me...too much of pressure....

Guys,

There is a quick way of finding about your application.

Call the HO and tell them that you applied xx weeks back and still have not received any reference number or any sort of details.

Please can they provide ref number.

Chances are that if your app is approved they will tell you straight away and gave you tracking number as well. ( It happned in my case)

Depends on who you get through as well.,

This group helped me a lot.

Suggestion: If you have valid documents don't apply through any agent. It's a waste of money. Just fill the form correctly and atatch all required docs.
