Finaly got a collection call after 21 weeks on 20 march .
Passport collected 22 march .
Wish me a safe journey . Feeling happy

Plz tell me if you received your passport back yet ? Because I’m in the same situation as you I’ve won my appeal on September 2017 and submitted my passport on 6th February 2018 and still waiting for the collection of my passport .. very stressing and very sad

Where did you submitted your passport?? Have you paid IHS before submitting passport??

We submitted passport in Karachi, Pakistan and got it back with vignette in 4 working days.

We were advised in email to send an email after passport submission, which I did as soon as I left the VAC. Have you emailed them ?? Maybe this will escalate the process for you.

"To prevent any further delays with processing your application, once you have made this IHS payment and submitted your passport please send an e-mail to IHS.Sheffield@fco.gsi.gov.uk containing your name, GWF reference, the amount that you have paid for IHS and when you submitted your passport."

My case wasn’t overturned but any way I’m not sure

Have you done paper based appeal? Because my cousin has done paper based appeal too and her deadline is in june but was sent for review in feb

No Fatima we appealed oral hearing. Our decision was first withdrawn and then overturned in ECM review.

Why they did the paper based appeal?? What was the reason for refusal. At the moment they are reviewing applications with current deadline latest withdrawn decision is with 2nd May deadline. So they should hear something in 4 - 6 weeks.

I don't think it's relevant if it's an overturned decision or you won appeal. What matters is they agreed to issue you visa and it shouldn't take long as you've waited enough already. I would write to them for an update if I were you, but ofcourse it's your choice.

My lawyer has complained to them but we didn’t get not reply yet .. any way the lawyer said to us that they are not allowed to keep your passport more than 3 months so after 3months if they don’t give us no answer then he will make a proper complain to them I’m really bored and sad of waiting it’s been more than 3 years since I’ve got married but I couldn’t live with my husband yet

Many congratulations. D-partner standard means you're on 5 year route to settlement. Now you've to travel within given vignette, keep the copy of letter (which has your visa details) with you When you travel to UK. After arriving in UK collect your BRP within 10 days. I presume it should say Spouse and not Partner but I'll be able to confirm this in a week time after collecting my own BRP.

Which visa you applied for ?? Where is visa validity mentioned in your passport. For uk spouse visa you only get entrance visa which is valid for 30 days, it's called vignette sticker and pasted on your passport. Along with passport you get a letter which states validity of your visa, route to settlement and post office address from where you've to collect your BRP after arrival in UK. After visa is granted you've to travel within that vignette and collect your BRP (which acts as your visa for identity and immigration purposes)

As per my knowledge spouse visa used to be stamped on passport. Now only vignette is stamped on passport which is valid for 30 days. Like I explained above you get a decision letter which mention all relevant information and have to carry with passport on arrival in UK and at BRP collection.

Maybe a senior member could explain better. What's your husband status in UK??
