Dependent child not travelling with main applicant

Hi All,

Me and my wife are staying in UK for past two years on Tier 2 general VISA. Now, we are planning to bring our daughter on a dependent VISA.

My query is..Can my daughter travel to UK with her grand parents. While filling the form, as we have to fill out a person's details who is going to accompany the child and can only give details of parent's VISA details, I am wondering if any of the parent has to accompany her during the flight or an authorisation letter from parents would be sufficient.

Appreciate any suggesions.

your daughter can travel with her grand parents only if they have valid UK visa. If not then you have to go and accompany her.
If the grand parents have UK visa then your authorization letter will also need.

make sure they have birth certificate of your daughter too.
