Retention of rights

Post by freakish187 » Thu Apr 05, 2018 10:05 am

Hi,

My question is regarding retention of rights application process. I got divorced in october and I'm going to apply for the retention of rights.
I was wondering what type of stamp would I hold while my application is being processed?

Kind Regards

Sorry but there's no stamp for you to hold while your application is been process for rights of retention. After you submit your application and given a case worker, with the everything been ok, you will be sent a letter of acknowledgement and that you will give to your employer, you will be asked to do finger prints. After that is done then you just have to wait until they decide on your application.

Hi,

Divorce was in Ireland and me and my ex are both living in Ireland. We have joint custody of our daughter as per court orders.

Thanks

if your divorce in Ireland you must have been separated for 4 years
to apply for retention you must be married for 3 years and you have to prove that by showing bills in mutual names etc etc.
do you hold eu1 or eu3(permanent residence stamp?)
