I am a Jamaican living here almost 11 yrs. Was an aoverstayer for about 2yrs and 5 months. Made application for FLR in 2003 on Human Rights and compassionate grounds based on certain circmstances.

HO acknowledged my application saying it was valid and could not be decided on initial consideration bla, bla, bla. etc.

Now I have no means of working and the people who supports me are getting fed up of me havimg to feed me, give me money etc.

My local MP wrote to them in 2005 to chase the application and they apologised saying they are sorry to have taken so low, but it has been forwarded to the caseworkers for a decision.

I am very stressed myslef. I will finish my degree in Clinical Pharmacology this year by June. When I get my degree, is it possible to try the Tier 1 or any other option available to me.

I would love to know the options please. Thank you
