Post by DD-HIV » Sat Apr 19, 2008 1:39 pm

Hi Gurus,

Mine is critical situation, I got my approved HSMP Visa 4 months back(Jan-2008).

I have planned to fly Next Month End.

10 days back i went for Medical Check up. I took Chest Xray, blood and Urine Check up..all are well.

I came to know from HIV test mine is HIV-1+.

Please advice, can i fly as usual or it is not possible to travel with HIV.

Thanks

Hi DD,

It is so SAD to hear such news.

What is your prasent Health Condition.I think if it is Initial Stage you can travel as usual, since when youo land in UK they will ask only for Chest Xray.

Gurus,

Please help DD.

Regards
YD

Sorry to hear this....well you will not be asked to go through any other test at Uk airport but only Chest X-ray. You can continue your planns. Once you are in the UK, register with GP at the earliest and disclose all of medical results to him/her. then you would be guided/treated accordingly.
Best wishes to you for your health.
