Visa Prosessing Time Question

Post by aa77bb » Tue Apr 10, 2018 3:23 pm

Hi all,
I've always assumed working days for this situation but it does not actually say. So just seeking to get some clarification on this.

Does this mean working days? Or just calendar days?

"Processing of a visa application
As a general rule, a decision is taken by the Consulate within 15 days.
This period may, in individual cases, be extended up to 30 days and, exceptionally, 60 days, if a more detailed examination of your application and/or additional documents are required."

Its usually calendar days, unless it's stated explicitly.

When did the embassy receive your application? you need to bear in mind it's 14 days from when the embassy actually receives it. We posted ours on 29th of March and the embassy only received it on 4th of April, so for us its 14 days starting from 4th of April.
