I think you need a better solicitor. For RCOS, you have secured 50 points.

50K salary equates to 30 points and RLMT is 20 points. Really strange to see a solicitor unaware of the points scoring system.

Hi

The points you mentioned will be consider when you are applying the Tier 2 general Visa with a sponsorship.

For Sponsorship

RLMT (Milk Around - Top Management Position ) - 30 points or else 20 points
listed in shortage occupation the it is - 135 points

Salary (50k) - 20 points

if you occupation role is a top management role then you point is 50 or else it is 40 points. if it is in short occupation list then it is 155 points

Thanks.

This is going to be another 46 cut off month. This is what I feel. We need to have patience not only us even the employers sponsoring us. Who knows if the cut off remains same it Might make the government think more as it is the month with more RCOS. Frankly my excitement of going to UK is gone. Am just waiting patiently to see what unfolds in the coming days.

I am sorry if im being naive here..

Let me clarify it in more details:

The company i am workingn in India for 10 Years have offered me the job in UK.

The Solicitor confirmed me that it would be under PBS Tier 2 Visa, not sure that would be considered under.

However, it is surely sponsored by the company and it is Tier 2 General.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all support

Hey guys, My CoS is finally approved. Switched to shortage occupation. Hoping the points come lower this month.
Congrats, can I know your points please and when your employer applied for your Cos . I am with 37 points applied on 05- Apr-2018 and waiting for my HR update
Hi there. I probably had 130+ points since it was shortage occupation. My HR applied on the 5th of April and I am working in the A&E department.

You need to be sure what you will be applying for. Tier 2 has two different categories, namely Tier 2 General and Tier 2 ICT (this one is usually relevant if you work in home country for an employer and transfer to the UK for the same employer).

Hi

how you are saying cut off would be 46 , if it is I hope they update all the certificates has refused which are less than 46 and then started considering only the certificates with high points . since most of us doesn't get any updates means they are processing so please wait don't lose the hope.

Ohh that i Know.. Its surely not ICT (intra company transfer) but General.

But as Krithi said that this ponts would be considered if i was applying through Tier 2 General with with Sponsorship.

Therefore i believe that my application is under Tier 2 general with sponsorship.

So in that case would it have weightage of 70 or 50 points?

Thanks, Das

This topic is for RCoS, so only RLMT and salary is counted. In your case, as already advised, you have 50 points.

Hi everyone,

Is there any exceptions for the point calculation for new entrants under 26 ? I saw in some article that the minimum salary for new entrants are different than for experienced hires. Is this true ?
Thank you

One junior doctor just received it. Non shortage occupation. Salary 55-60,000. Anything above 55 seems safe for now.
