How earlier can I have document for ILR?

Hello everyone,

I will be applying for ILR through Tier 2 (General) 5 Years route, in May/Jun 2018.

1)How earlier can I have my absence (due overseas travel) letter from the previous employer?

2) How earlier can I ask letters from current employer for ILR purpose letters?

Any time. Its worth getting asap. HO recommend you get the letter from previous employer before you even leave them !!!

Within 1 mont of the application date

It should be dated no older than 28 days at the time the application is submitted.
