Documents required for applying for British passport/Naturalisation

Hi,

I have got few questions I will be soon applying for British Passport as it's going to be an Year since i got my citizenship.

1. I want to change my name before applying for my passport can i do that ?
If so how ?

2. What are the list of documents that needs to be submitted for the application.

3. I have been divorced and we both are Indians married in India .I don't wish to mention his details in the previous marriage/Partner list.

4. I'm not sure who can be the Refree & Identity . Can it be my friends ?

Please guide me it would be greatly appreciated.
