Tier 2 General -Changes of employment - ISC liable

Post by RamyaA » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:18 pm

Hello experts,

My friend is currently on a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa and she has got a COS for Tier 2 General - Changes of employment category. Is that a correct category as she is switching from Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General for the first time ?

Any pointers on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ramya

She cannot switch within the UK.

She need a Restricted Cos not an unrestricted Cos.

She is a new hire, RLMT must be met and she must apply from home country.

Thanks for a very prompt response.

We understand that she has to travel back to the home country for applying Tier2 General.

Is change of employment category a unrestricted category of COS ? She is already working here on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa and switching to Tier 2 General. Is that the reason for Change of employment category mentioned in the COS . Sorry we are confused and looking for suggestion.

RMLT has been completed by the new employer NHS and she is ready to travel back to home country India for getting the visa applied/stamped.

Really appreciate your pointers.

Thanks,
Ramya

She is not "switching". She applying for a new entry clearance visa. Switching is done withing the UK.

Change if employer is relevant to tier 2 general applying for a tier 2 general with a new employer in the UK with a UCoS.

Best to check ASAP with HR before she leaves to apply.

She is a new hire for visa sponsorship purposes and not a change in employer.
