Traveling to Northern Ireland

Post by johnsonlll » Fri Apr 20, 2018 4:50 pm

Hello, all,

I don’t know if this is the correct section to post.
I recently submitted my T1 Entropeuer initial application, and the fee has been deducted.

However, I’m planing to travel to Northern Ireland to celebrate my friend birthday and stay around for 2 days.

My passport and privious BRP all sent with application, what I have with me is uk driving licence. Can I travel with it or been stopped?

Any answer or advice is appreciated

Regards

Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom so you should be safe with driving licence.

If you are flying to NI check with the airline whether they accepts DL for ID. Ferry travel should be straight forward from previous comments I read.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

Thank you for the information :) I will search the ferry route in case of any unnecessary checks
