Yes Sonubanna,

I called HO today and a lady told me that my application is with case worker and it would take atleast 1 more week for reply. But nothing guaranteed :-( If needed i can request for an urgent treatment but there are so many such requests that HO is not looking into them !!

Anxiously waiting with fingers and toes (of all my 4 limbs) crossed !!
I have-not seen a single transtional arrangement application approved yet.

Hi Amit,

When I called up HO on Friday, guy said that your application is under consideration (didn't clarified my query whether it is with case worker or not ).

Yes, I sent my original WP with my application. Although that was not mentioned in list of docs to be submitted.

Its more than three weeks since I submitted my application.

Thanks for the reply.
Since it was not asked in the applicaiton, I have not submitted WP with my Tier1 application. Fingers crossed !!

I called HO on friday too. They told that its with caseworker. But they can't tell when the decision would be made.

For me, its 6 weeks now after my application was submitted.
Anxious wait continues !!

Help on EC

Post by actuary.jk » Sun Apr 20, 2008 11:43 am

Hi
It will be of great assistance if you could answer the following queries. I am from india and had applied for HSMP in feb 2008 and had received approval letter prior to April 1, 2008.

1) Is it possible to ask for a post dated Entry-Clearance?

2) The fees for me would be 17425 Rs. How much is it for the HSMP dependant?

3) Now when I go for HSMP EC, Will I get 3 years or 2 years as the
term of stay? Pretty confusing bcos of the transition.

3) My wife will be joining me by August. Will I be able to apply EC
for her now and still she will be able to travel in August?

4) Is a proof of accommodation in UK a necessity?

5) How much bank balance to be maintained if I have 1 dependant?

6) Please send me a complete list of documents required for HSMP EC dependant. Should I attach CV, Cover letter, etc., for her as well?

7) What is the VAF form no. for the HSMP primary applicant and dependant?

8) She is a Sri Lankan Passport holder and an Indian resident. Will she b able to apply from India?

9) Should my wife have a valid IELTS as well?

Thanks and Regards

@ammu28

I dont think thats necessary.I would definitely avoid sending documents when they are not required.
