Does a Tier 4 student brining a newborn son with them needs to show the same amount of maintenance funds as himself for the newborn baby?

Unfortunately, they tend to ignore the child born in the UK rules.

If traveling, then they expect baby to apply for leave as a PBS dependant, where the normal maintenance funds is required.

Thank you Vinny. So basically a newborn baby would require the same amount of maintenance funds as a grown-up Tier 4 student? :shock:

No, the same maintenance as any other Tier 4 dependant.
