Tier 2 General - Start Date different

Hi,

Recently my new Tier 2 sponsor have made visa application in which it was mentioned the start date as 1st May 2018 but in the COS the start date is 15 April 2018, will this be a problem?
I have sent documents in that I have included HR email letter that the my Job offer starts from 1st may.
My current visa is valid till May 2020.

Can anyone please confirm on this.

Your sponsor can Add a Sponsor Note via the SMS system notifying of your actual start date.

Thanks a lot for your reply, I have asked him to do the same. But if he does not update in SMS will that be a problem?
