Spouse ILR - Set(M)

Post by Arulsan » Mon Apr 30, 2018 10:01 pm

Hi Everyone,
My wife is applying for settlement in two weeks time as a dependent of British citizen, under Appendix FM. As I have to show proof of documents for last 30 months to confirm as we have lived together, I have some documents including HMRC letters. We gets child benefits and child tax credit, and these HMRC documents have my wife’s and my name. Can I use this document as a proof of address as it has both of our names.
My question is that will getting child tax credit give any negative effect on my wife’s application?
My annual salary is more than £18600, and applying under Appendix FM.

Please could anyone help me to clear this confusion.

Thank you.

Is your wife applying for ILR??? If yes, this is not the correct place to post ILR questions and if you can confirm, I will split the post above and move it.
