Visa rejected 4 times

Howdy there.

I’m currently in the process of obtaining a visa through my employer who is sorting out the process. But in short, it has been rejected 4 ties since November last year.

The only information I’ve been given is that there is a backlog of applicants and they are filling quota every month and mine isn’t getting through. Blame being placed on Brexit and the impending fee increase.

I understand how this could be the case with a points based system and more eligible people being granted before me but I wanted to see what others thought of my situation.

Is this normal? Are we currently in a period of high application rates?

Skilled worker (not on shortage list)
~£40k/year
Australian
Art Director in advertising
Worked for the company I’m apply with for 1.5 years already.
Employer has been through the job listing and interview process.

If you worked for the overseas employer for 1.5 years why don't you try ICT?

You don't make enough (needs to be £41.5k) and if you worked for them in UK and not Aus, it certainly wouldn't apply. Can't ICT from England to England

I'm in the same situation as you! Been offered the job end of Sep 2017 and still haven't received my visa sponsorship after many rejected applications. It's a mess!

I feel you mate. Kicked mine off in September too, apparently that's the month it all began.

I'm in a very similar situation. Transitioning from a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa to Tier 2 General. Employer has been applying since December last year, and have said May will be their last attempt . I have 40 points. Hopefully this month will be successful...!
