Holiday

Post by SamLon » Tue May 08, 2018 12:06 am

Dear All,

I am on a Tier 2 visa and will be going to India for my annual holiday.

My annual leave that has been sanctioned is from 13th July to 30th August; I have bought a ticket for the evening of 12th July and for coming back on 31st August.

So I leave on the evening (8.30 PM) of 12th July after finishing my days work and come back on 31st August which is a day after my annual leave ends but is a Saturday.

I was hoping me leaving a day early and coming back a day later than my annual leave should not be a issue as I am leaving after hours of my last working day and coming back on weekend; so I am not missing any working day in any sense

Thanks in advance for your guidance on this

If they are paid leave, there are no problem at all.

many thanks for your reply....Yes they are paid leave

my point was i leave a day early and come back a day later than what has been sanctioned.

Leave sanctioned start day ---13th
My ticket ---12th evening (after my office closes)

Leave end day---30th (Friday)
My ticket for coming back ----31st (Saturday)

It was this part I was slightly worried. I hope this doesn't make any difference?
