Bank Stmt missing for a month

Hi,

Urgent query, please reply.

I am in UK on WorkPermit and looking to switch to Tier1.

From the 12 months paylsips that I have provided, I am unable to locate one month bank stmt. It is not possible to get this bank stmt now. Since my payslip is just one piece of paper, I cannot avoid showing this.

Is it alright if I mention in my covering letter that "since I am unable to provide bank statement for the month of Oct 07, I am not considering this salary for my point calculations."

Gurus, please let me know your opinion.
- Would they consider this as acceptable and not consider this salary
- Would the reject my application (as bogus)

I think you should take the missing statement again from the bank.Every bank provides the facility of reissuing bank statements.For example, Lloyds TSb charges £10 for reissuing 12 months bank statements.Your case is certainly not compliant with the rules laid in the guidance doc.
