Is Single person discount = Recourse to Pubic funds?

Post by rsathish » Fri Apr 25, 2008 11:54 pm

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can clarify this strange doubt I had recently. Forgive me, if this is ridiculously silly.

I'm staying in 1 bed flat and get 25% single person discount in the Council Tax. Would this mean I'm benefitting by a re-course to Public funds? - A condition denied in my HSMP visa.

Just didn't want to be surprised by HO by rejecting my FLR at a later stage citing this reason.

Thanks.

SPD is not a recourse to public funds, it is a discount you're entitled to due to under inhabitence.

Don't sweat it man. :)
