Sweet!
Aye, it is. Thanks.

Probably the most stressful thing I've done in my life. That includes the buying and selling 10 houses!

Would we do it again? I guess we will wait and see what happens in 32 months time. However, right now its highly unlikely. In fact we are already eyeing up a US visa.

However we did it legally. There was an opportunity for my wife staying here. She had a job lined up and the employer was content to employ without a visa. Staying illegally was never an option. Yes we have been apart for 4 months but we can hold our head up knowing we did not fiddle the system.

Illegals and overstayers take note!!!!!

Size is not important......

Its generally accepted that the stress involved in moving house is one the worst.....compared to the visa process its a piece of cake!

Wow, exactly 60 working days. That's some crazy precision.

Thanks for posting. I am on day 40 and it helps to see an American with a good timeline. Congrats! :D

Yes it was exactly 60 days. It came as some surprise as, technically, it was early as there was 3 public holidays which shouldnt have been counted. Well done UKVI, you were 3 days early.

"High five" Good job! :D  :D

Good luck with your application.
