Just got a confirmed refusal for 45 points non SOL
My company is trying since Jan. My current visa runs out this month and I will have to go back.
I had Tier 2 dependent and separated and since then my company has been applying. Not sure if this is ever going to change.. Just feel very dejected.

I am sorry to hear that. Clearly people's lives are being thrown in turmoil by this. No matter how bad one's situation is, there is always someone on this forum who is in an even worse position. I think I am unlucky at 45 as a first time applicant but I can't even imagine those at 40 trying for many months. Or at 35. It's really sad, and my best wishes to everyone here really.

I was at 35 applied Dec-March. Company did another RLMT with an increased salary and so 45 points April and now May. It just feels so difficult. The Lawyer says the cut off is at 60 k this month.

Question - did your company list your salary as ''competitive'' in the first RLMT job advert or was it specified 35k exactly?

the points calculation not defined by either home office or UKVI,and it is all defined by big solicitor companies.

I have not seen any UK website where rcos allocation works with RLMT(except SOL ,phd level),and think its all works based on company and decent salary .

If anyone has a link published by homeoffice on RCOS allocation,please provide to all and it really helpfull.

Moreover, do not count on "backlog clearance". In January the 45+ backlog got cleared, but in February 1700+ applicants were in the 45+ again. Even if this month threshold is 45+p again, next month 1700+ NEW applicants with higher than 45p would apply , and again it would be same story.

I strongly agree with you. The only thing to expect now is if the cutoff is again 46 this month, then atleast there are atleast 100 to 150+ applications carried over to next month which can somehow clear the 45 pts backlog hopefully in june or july.

But the challenge is the count in 50k+ catgeory is also slightly growing month after month because employers now know only 50+ is best chance to get cos allocated.

What are the chances of 50k salary ( Non-SOL, Non-Phd ) getting in next few months.

Let's say there is no chance for below 50k for non-shortage. For 50k in a 2-3 consecutive applies, you would get it.

No because a law company is doing my RCoS application in behalf of me. The company is hired by my sponsor, it is a very irresponsible company to say the least. They answered my emails late, so I stopped sending them emails anymore. I am waiting for the official results, so I can talk with my sponsor for a solution.

That is sad the solicitors can be bit difficult sometimes. I have mine applied at 48K as a data scientist and my solicitor told me 10 mins ago the application is under review , They used the code 2425 .

My job title is data scientist as well with 46k salary. So we are in the same boat. Shout loudly if you see a land!

Received confirmation. Application refused 31pts. Not surprised. Company told me no one else was approved at 46 pts. Looks like quota is 55! I think exceptions are being made for NHS employees

I think the issue is that they have to go through every application individually even if they know the points cut off is much higher. This is because they can either refuse (due to points) or reject (failed RLMT) an application for RCOS and therefore they have to make sure each application is not a 'reject' before refusing it. So that's why it's taking time for all of us to get our decisions even though we know the cut off is 55.

The cut off is 55 this time. I got rejected at 44.

Is there any chance the home office is giving priority to doctors at lower pts , We seen a urologist getting approved at 45pts and someone at 43 pts

I am a doctor applying via NHS and got refused this month at 50 points non SOL

There are several new entrant clauses you can qualify where if you switch from Tier 4,
Or under 26. Normally given that a graduate earns less than experienced those jobs are have a lower minimum salary limit. However I am not sure if HO consider them in a different way when over subscribed.
Also could you tell if he is on graduate position

The cut off is 55 this time. I got rejected at 44.

I wonder we started the may cycle with hope that maximum people can get through and the points at least reduce to 45pts . What is wrong that the points moved up to 55pts again since March . We had similar allocation this month 1975 ( Approx)

i think my employer will revoke the offer who waits for so long
