Stopover at Paris

hey there.. i hold an indian passport... with british visa.. and i hold tickets from

london to paris and from there paris to bangalore..

what i want to know is.. if i can make a 2 day stopover.. and see the eiffel and u konw the rest.. just roam around.. but i can get a hotel comfirmation and i have an onward ticket.. so could u please tell me wat i can do??
thanks..

ps i've heard of the transit visa.. can i get it when i reach the airport?? or should i get an appointment or something liek that??

Nope you can't stop over. You'll need to get a transit visa beforehand.


What does it have to do with your poll, though? Or have I missed something?

actually, I hate all three. I wouldn't stay for more than a couple of days in any of them.

London is a ripoff, grossly overrated and I generally cannot stand the snobbish people who live there.

Paris is also damn expensive and Parisians, generally damn rude.

and don't even get me started on NYC.


Give me smaller and livelier cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Prague, Boston, LA or San Francisco anyday.

Typically you do not need a transit visa in France, though it depends on whether you are staying within one airline and one airport.

actually i'll be flying only air france.. and they recommended stop over.. coz i have some friends there..

If you want to stop over, by all means do. But you will need a visa.
