Switch from tier 2 dependant to tier 4

Post by applicant2018 » Sun Jun 03, 2018 10:46 am

Hi

I am on tier 2 general visa and my spouse on tier 2 general dependant.

My questions are

1. Can my spouse switch to tier 4 general in country without exiting UK?

2. Can i apply at the same time to become tier 4 dependant of my spouse in country without exiting?

3. Can I continue working as tier 4 dependant .... i know some restrictions on my work will be there.

Thanks in advance

Regards

See above. You can apply in the UK, but only after your spouse has obtained Tier 4 leave in their home country and has returned to the UK.

The restrictions are listed in Part 8 of the immigration rules, paragraph 319D(b).
