Re: Spouse Visa - non salaried income

Post by vchiu » Fri May 18, 2018 10:35 pm

Thank you very much Seagul, you are such a star !!

I think this is the method:

£21000 per annum
So he should received at least £1750 per month, anything on top of £1750 will be considered as non salaried income.

On behalf of that, I willl ask a letter to prove how many hours he has worked in each month.

Thank you very much Seagul

Spouse Visa -Category B

Post by vchiu » Sun Jun 03, 2018 1:57 am

First of all, I would like to give a massive thanks to all professional members in this forum.

I hope this is not too silly to ask some enquiries for apply Cat B.

Am I meeting the enquiry if I would like to provide our earning details as the following to fulling the financial requirement of Cat B:

My Income, I only work for 3 months in the company
2017 Oct £870
2017 Nov £1800
2017 Dec £240

Total: £2910

My husband income form 1st employment
2017 Sept £2200
2017 Oct £1600
2017 Nov £1300
2017 Dec £165

Total:£5265

My husband income from 2nd employment
2018 Mar £1500
2018 April £1400
2018 May £1880

Total: £4780

As he is about to start with other job with a 6 months contract

His paid will be £20 per hour

So if he starts at on the 5th June,
his pay in June will be : E2400
In July:£3520

Total: £5920

To meet Cat B part 1 - non - salaried income = £2400 /1 month x 12 = £28800
To meet Cat B part 2 (all pay slips from last 12 months before application) - where it will be adding my income + my husband income = £2910 + £5265 + £4780 + £5920 = £18875

I would like to know am I calculating this right.

Many thanks in advance

You have tried well to understand category B but you should try to understand as what actually is meant of category B. Category B is for those who are working for their employers from less than 6 months in contrary of Category A where the person need to be working from at least 6 months for same employer. Therefore,
I doubt if you can be able to combine your past income if you are not currently working for anyone.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thank you for your reply, Seagul. Sorry for my misleading wordings. The application will be applied on the basis of my husband current jobs.

If I am not currently working, can I still combined my income?

Many thanks
