Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension Approved after 10 months

Hi All,

My extension has been approved after 10 months without interview.

Applied - 2/Aug/2017
Biometrics - 12/Aug/2017
Complex Letter- 16/Aug/2017 (received 21/Aug/2017)
IHS refund - 4/April/2018
BRP - 30/5/2018 (missed dx delivery on 1/6/2018 but finally received on 5/6/2018)
Documents and passport - still waiting


IT QA consultancy
3 full time employees
Virtual registered office (Registered in Scotland but moved to London)
Trading office (central London)
In profit all three years
Took dividends all three years
***No Interview****
Moved to a different trading office whilst application was in progress

Thanks to God and all on this blog for the advise and pointers (solicited and unsolicited) lol

It was a stressful journey. I am glad it’s over.

Please would you advise whether you submitted extra supplementary documents with the application, also, may I ask what was the wage you paid to employees roughly?

I did but I am inclined to believe all that extra documentation can cause delay. However, I submitted
- insurance documents
- employers liability certificate
-last 2 client invoices
- last month business bank statement showing last 2 paid invoices above
- directors loan agreement for 10k invested before initial application
- all annual returns
- all ct41g and c600 bla bla bla. All of them

No, I was dreading the interview to be fair since most calls to mp etc result in interview but this is what I found out after research,

1. From the date of ur ihs refund, u will get a response within 8 weeks
2. Your response will be either an interview invitation or grant/ reject visa decision
3. If after 5 or 6 weeks of receiving your ihs refund, you haven’t been invited for an interview or been caught unaware (office visit interview without notice), your visa will most likely be granted

I knew my visa would be received by 2nd June, I guess my theory was right

Wages changed over the years. FYI all employees were full time 130 hours per month
Emp 1 - 2016/2017 - 7 per hour
2017/2018 - 7.20 per hour
2018/2019 - 8.20 per hour

Emp 2 - 2016/2017 - 7.50 per hour
2017/2018 - 10 per hour
2018/2019 - 10 per hour

Emp 3 - 2016/2017 - 7.20 per hour
2017/2018 - 7.50 per hour
2018/2019 - 8.50 per hour

I had two other employees who left but were actually used in d application
Other employee 1 - 2015/2016 - 7.50 per hour

Other employee 2 - 2016/2017 - 10 per hour
2017/2018 - 11 per hour
