Consent from Partner on ILR

Post by madnanali » Wed Jun 06, 2018 12:11 pm

Hi All,

I am using the new online form to apply for my LTR based on Tier 2 General.
For the moment Only I am applying the ILR, In my bank statements there is money in/out from my wife's account (to move into saving account), Now should I send her Bank statement as well and also get the sign on
"PART 3: Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party
sponsor"?

Thanks

Since this is your application and your bank statments HO are requesting your consent to conduct checks on your account.

Consent from partner is not required. Also no need to send her Bank Statements.

If however, the bank account is joined then consent is required.
Don't misconstrue my views for professional immigration advice, just trying to give back to a community that helped me through my journey.

WP-> HSMP-> Tier 2G D-> ILR-> BC-> OCI

we have individual accounts, so I believe the only mine is enough. Thanks for clearing the confusion
