AIT Test Case on Indefinite Leave to Remain

Post by John_Bobo » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:31 pm

Does anyone have more information on the AIT Test Case on Indefinite Leave to Remain (for HSMP holders) going on tomorrow? Is it just the hearing taking place or will the judgement be released tomorrow too?

The other forum said that

''AIT Test Case concerned with an appeal made by the Home Office against the initial decision of the AIT was listed on 1st May 2008.

The Home Office decided to withdraw their appeal against the initial AIT decision declaring the Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) refusal after 4 years was unlawful. So the supposedly test case lasted for few minutes since Home Office withdrew their appeal. The appellant is expected to get an ILR. ''

Thanks.
