hi omosuk

do you think should i gumble and go for premium service to apply for ilr after 6 years decretionar leave after refusing asylum
in your experience di yiu know peopel done it in peo with same situation ?? waiting for reply i do have evry thing ready to post or use peo service
im bit confuse please share
Click here you may have to scroll down near the middle.

This is a list of some of the users at the time of that post that where refused for an application of asylum but where granted DLR and applied after 6 years of DLR for an application of ILR.

They all used form SET(O) with the premium service and where all successfully granted ILR, there was one member that had their application deferred for further checks but was granted ILR some weeks later.

Since that post, there have been more members under that route using SET(O) with PSC granted successfully.

I'll try and link get the other users for you if possible but those mentioned in that post you should be able to get a good idea from a bit of reading from them.

Hope it helps.
dear CMOSUK
I wonder it is possible for you to guide for a solisitor to do set o application

Hi
Your 6 months waiting period count towards your 6years so you can apply 28days before the date of your first 3years grant this year so it let’s say you got the first 3years in June 18th 2012, you can apply for ILR counting from 20th May 2018.
I hope you understand ☺️

Hi I need to apply for indefinite leave to remain after 6 years of discretionary leave. Can you please tell me whether I should do both an English test and life in the uk test or just the Life in the UK test. Thanks
There are no language (KoLL) requirements for those applying ILR after 6 years DLR.
It’s only today I checked your reply. I did both tests on Thursday last week. I regret having paid £150 for an English test and my sleepless night because of the life in the uk test.

Please, can anyone help me by answering these questions.
I was granted my first 3 yrs Discretionary leave in Oct 2009- Oct 2012,l applied for extension in Sept 2012,but it was delayed because of the backlog and was granted in Oct 2013 - Oct 2016.
My first question is,am i eligible to apply for ILR now since i have completed my six years (Oct 2009-Oct 2015)?
Secondly, Do i need to include photocopies of all the original documents also?
Thirdly,Do i need to include Life in the UK and English too?

Please its urgent.
Hi I’m in the same situation like you . Did you apply for ilr , what was the outcome? Thanks

Hey guys,

First post after following this board for years. Like many of you i was originally granted 3 years DLR outside immigration rules in 2012. I applied for a further 3 years in 2015. My leave was due to run out in Jan 2018. I made an application for ILR in Jan 2018. Just received word from my solicitor today that my application has being approved and I will be going to pick up my documents tomorrow. All in all the process took 6 months. I was afraid the home office would drag their heels based on stories I've heard and read on here. Just wanted to say thank you for keeping me going as your stories helped me a lot throughout this process. Good luck to everyone applying or current waiting.

I also applied ILR using FLR (DL) form by post on 13/11/2017, following the same fear that we are not allowed to use premium service but now i regret.

I got letter in April 2018 asking for further documents which they recived within same week but no reply yet.

I called and asked about the timeline as its mentioned on their website that all ILR applications normally decided within six months but they said there is no time frame for FLR (DL) appliations.

I also qualify to apply for ILR on ten year route
I wonder if i can request then to refund my fee and I apply for same day service using SET (O) on ten year residency route

Senior members any advice please.

Hi
Which further documents did they ask you for? And concerning refunding you, they won’t my dear, you can only choose to cancel your application and lose your fees and repay for the premium service. I already called them for enquirer about the matter of moving my postal application for a premium service and it’s ont possible.
So up to you if you want to lose all that money and redo your application without even the need of going on ten years route, you can still do it with 2x3years DLR
Hope to have helped you

Just to correct you and incase another user is looking for the form you have applied it is FLR(DL) and not ILR(DL).

Thanks in Advance .
I was granted 3 years discretionary leave to remain in June 2012 as a result of refused Asylum case, In June 2015 I applied for Extension and got another 3 years Leave Valid until April 2019.
I need the advice on following:
- Can I apply for ILR in June 2018 as my 6 years are due to complete
You may apply for an application of ILR 28 days before or within 28 days of completing 6 years DLR. This is worked out by counting 6 years from your initial grant of DLR (June 2012 in your case) and then minus 28 days or within it.
- Can I apply through Premium service
recently, if you look up above in earlier posts, many members of the same category of DLR as you, all used SET(O) with the premium service and where successful, going by these cases I would say Yes you may.
- How much is fee including 3 dependants

For 3 dependents and yourself an application for ILR in total would be £2389.00 x 4 = £9556.00 plus if you go for the premium service appointment, that would be another £610.00 x 4 = £2440.

In total you would be looking at: £11,996.00 😲

- In 2015 (time of second extension) Home office returned my application fee and also Health surcharge, will I get fee exemption for ILR ?
No, there is no fee waiver for an application of ILR
- Do I need English text and life in the UK.
No, you are exempt based on the category route taken to be eligible for an application of ILR, however you will require the KoLL (life in the UK and the English B1 test for when you wish to naturalise as BC.)
I will highly obliged for your kind advise.

hi
you don't need to apply for your children now, first you apply with your wife in the premium service (one day) after you grand ILR you can register as British for Children you can save nearly £4000
thanks
Thanks For replying my post. (please advise)
I found another form which seems more appropriate in my case:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... uk-form-dl
Extend stay or settle in the UK as a person who was refused asylum: form FLR(DL)
Form to apply for an extension of stay or indefinite leave to remain in the UK if you were refused asylum but given another type of permission to stay in the UK.

And in this form there is no option to go at premium service it only says post at given address:
when I tried to book premium service it clearly says you can not book this service if ''you’re applying to settle in the UK after 6 years discretionary leave''
https://www.gov.uk/ukvi-premium-service ... he-service
