British Citizenship referees

Post by OneMan » Fri Jun 08, 2018 3:48 pm

Hi All,

I have a question regarding referees for AN form.
Is Pharmacist is acceptable as referee? I have seen the official list, it includes 'Chemist'. However, by definition, chemist and pharmacists are two different professions. I have read conflicting info on the previous threads over last few years. So, would be much grateful if anybody here could share their own experience or known for sure that pharmacist is acceptable as a professional referee.
Many thanks in advance.

British Citizenship - Couple applying together

Post by OneMan » Mon Jun 11, 2018 10:57 am

Hi Everyone,

We are also applying for JCAP service next week (husbandand wife at the same time).
So, my question regarding referee is, our referees are other 2 couples.
So, my application form will have man (from 1st couple) and lady (from 2nd couple)
and my partner's application will have lady (from 1st couple) and man (from 2nd couple).
So, each application will have 2 referees who are not related to each other.
Also, both couples do satisfy all other requirements.

So, is this acceptable?
Moderators or anybody, would really appreciate your feedback.
Many thanks in advance.

1. Kindly refrain from tagging onto other members topics. Keep ALL your questions in your own topic please.

2. Referees are fine, as long as none are related to each other either through marriage or by blood AND at least one for each of you is a professional and the other is British and over 25 years of age.

Many thanks CR001. Highly appreciated.
Both couples are not related to each other and are British. Also, each of us will have one professional referee.

Also, many apologies for asking question in someone's thread.
I (mis)understood that if topic thread is already present on forum, we should use that instead of creating new thread. Will remember in future posts.
