IELTS for Dependant

Post by drrushabh » Wed Jun 13, 2018 11:25 am

Hello All,

I am planning to apply for ILR soon along with my wife. However, her IELTS certificate will expire this week.

Will they count this certificate if we apply for ILR in July?

Many thanks.

When did she doe the test?

If she is a PBS Dependent, she would not have needed to meet the English requirement so for ILR, her test must be level B1, be valid and from one of the current HO approved test providers.

Thank you for your reply.

She took her IELTS Academic in June 2016, which is valid for two years.

Does that mean she will have to appear for another test? Or can we go for NARIC and get the validation for her degree from India?
