Apply for what exactly for 'your 7 year son'? Your right to remain in the UK, or his :?:

thanks for your reply.

My childs right to remain and as part of the requirement I would be needing a letter from both the GP and the school and I am not sure how the letter should be worded or what its needed to be written.

What is your immigration status and the status of the child's other parent??

You need to provide more information if you expect any free and useful advice from strangers on an internet forum.

our visas expired in 2011 and we have tried to renew it but the Home office rejected our application. We (the parents) are both out of visa but still has an appeal pending but also trying to regularise using our 7 year old child based on the 7 year stay rule. Besides, he was born in the UK.

Why isn't the child included in your appeal?

If you submit an FLR(FP) application, his appeal will be withdrawn.

How old is your child??

What exactly are you appealing?

What did you apply for and what were the reasons for refusal??

What is your full UK immigration history??

My child is 7 years already. We are appealing for in-country appeal rights.

I arrived on a student visa from 2006-2009 and switched to PSW till 2011
Wife joined me in 2010 as dependant and visa both expired in 2011.

Before the visa expired I applied to switch to a student visa but was refused and while trying to challenge the refusal, the college I was attending closed down and I tried the FLR (o) application in Feb 2013 citing human rights issue. It was rejected around June 2013 and ever since been appealing the decision.

First child born, April 2011 in the UK and second in May 2014.

P.S: the Home Office didnt send us a refusal letter on the FLR(O) but we got to know when we went to the hospital for treatment and the subsequent letter that was sent, just summarised our immigration history and rules which could have made us qualified.

I have just collected letters from GP and school as part of my husbands FLR FP application - they were basically a statement confirming the child/children was a pupil/registered and confirmed address and also that they lived with me the mother and also their stepfather.

Something along the lines of...

I can confirm that (child’s name) is a pupil at (school) and has been attending since (date started)
The child resides with (parents names) and the address we have on school file is (address)
