Urgent - FLR (M) payslips & bank statements.

Post by cloud99 » Mon Jun 18, 2018 9:24 pm

Hi,
I need some urgent advise related payslips & bank statement. I am a British citizen, and I am preparing my wife's spouse visa application. I have submitted the online application already and I have now noticed contradicting info on Home Office applications, which has now confused me. Quick response is much appreciated as I have to submit the documents in the next few days.

Question -
Do we need to submit last 6 months payslips or last 12 months payslip? I am employed with one company from last 8 years - I will be submitting P60 as well as job confirmation letter which confirms my annual salary.

The reason why this mess occurred - While completing the application, the document checklist (before submission) suggest last 6 months application. There was another checklist printed (after submission) which is asking for last 12 months payslips as well as bank statements coordinating the period of payslips. I don't have these documents ready at the moment, it will take few more days to gather. I just would like to get an opinion/confirmation whether 12 months payslips is even required under permanent salaried employment.

Please confirm as soon as possible.
Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks CR001 for your prompt response.

When you say '6 months of each' - do you mean mine & my partner's? If yes, then I have not included her financial details in the application because I meet the financial requirements?

also, the actual statement on the checklist states - 'payslips covering any period of salaried employment (current & previous) in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application - for Mr MY NAME.'

Am I reading the above statement incorrectly under pressure or Have I missed something else on the guidelines. Hence, you suggest only 6 months payslips rather 12.

Apologies, I am not questioning your knowledge. Just trying to clear my doubts and would like to get clear understanding of the rules around this point.

Again thank you for your help on this topic.

Hi
You only need 6 month payslips 6 month bank statement and letters that’s it
I think when you filled online application in finance button they ask you have you working with same employee in past 12 month ? Option yes or no I think you click at no so that’s why they ask you 12 month payslips
You can go online again and amended it
If you can’t anendebt it please write a covering letter and explain it before you apply it
Thanks

Checklist covers a broad range of documents but only relevant documents depending on situation should be attached & indicated at checklist. Try to fill up the form especially appendix 2 carefully and carefully select category A which applies in your case and requires 6 months payslips & bank statements. As a precaution (if wages not falls) there is no harm in attaching little bit longer length of documents than 6 months to avoid the chances where caseworker do any miscalculation in determining 6 months.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

thank you all for your comments.

I have posted the application today. I have sent 12 months statements & payslips. I had to go through little chaos in getting all the additional documents. But, I think I have figured it out why they have asked for additional 6 months.

I believe on the paper application you don't get this option, but online I was asked to select 'same amount above threshold' or 'different amount above threshold & vice versa below threshold' etc. What they were asking is basically - am I getting paid same every month or does it vary? in my case, there is a slight variation each month. hence, I selected 'diff amount' each month. I believe due to this, the checklist asked me to provide last 12 months documents mainly to verify full 12 months income.

not sure if my above observation is correct or not, but I thought I should share for the benefit of other members.

Hi cloud99,

I am in exact same position as you were. It is asking me 12 payslips which I am bit confused about. I am in Salaried employment with overtime so pay varies every month. But overall it meets the financial requirements. So not sure if I should just sent 6 payslips & 6 statements or not take a chance & send the 12 months worth of payslips & statements..😩 Any advice please guys? Thanks a lot 👍 👍 👍

I wasn’t aware there was an Appendix 2 for FLR(M)?
