Visitor visa for my Spouse - My Tier2 Visa Extension in progress

Hi All,

Currently I am in London and I have applied for my visa extension which may take 6 weeks atleast. But I am planning to bring my wife and kid to UK on visitor visa from India. I would like to know is there any way to process the visitor visa even though my visa extension is in process. Below is my visa details.

Visa Type: Tier 2 ICT
Visa Expiry Date: 14-Jun-2018(Already expired)
Applied for Extension: Yes
Expected Date to get the decision: July last week

Below are my questions.

1. Can I invite them even though my visa extension is in progress? If yes, what are the chances of getting the approval?
2. Any alternative way to get them visitor visa?

What evidence of strong ties to home country will they show to convince an ECO they are 'genuine visitors'?

Thanks for the reply. We had bought an apartment in my wife name back in Bangalore, India. Will that work?

It would not be enough no.

It has become increasingly difficult to get a visitor visa for a spouse whose husband or wife is living in the UK.

In this case what do you suggest? What could be the best way to get them to UK?
Secondly, my visa extension type is Standard which will take 8 weeks. Any chance of getting it sooner? Is it possible to convert it to fast track now? I already submitted my bio metrics on 5-Jun-2018.

No option for fast track now if you have already submitted by post.

Why not apply for their dependent visas once you get yours??

What is the cost of dependent visa? And how much time it will take to process? Can I start the process now itself when I am waiting for my visa extension status?
