HSMP appld (old rules) - pmt processing error by homeoffice

Post by amar_c » Sun May 04, 2008 12:57 pm

Hello All,

i have applied for an HSMP application under the old rules and it was returned declined due to payment processing failure for the fee amount on my credit card.

However on further investigation with the bank , it was revealed that the payment was rejected on the credit card due to incorrect entry of the expiry date by home office. I have double checked the info i have provided in my application and found to be correct.

Can i apply again under the old rules and send the application to the home office or do i need to apply under the new tier one system ? If i could get a confirmation from the bank in writing that this is due to incorrect processing by home office though correct info was provided in the application , can i appeal aganist the home office ?

Can anyone advise me on the best course of action?

I would really like to get this processed under the old regime.

Advance thanks for your advise.

Regards
Amar
