There isn't a topic for each country. The reason there is an India and Pakistan timeline topic, is due to those two countries being where the majority of spouse visa application are made and often where there is the most delay and scrutiny.

You can continue posting updates in this topic of yours. There is also a 'still waiting a decision' topic should you experience delays, link below.

Hi All,

We have just received 3 emails just now. 2 emails are to say that the applications of my wife and daughter are being considered by the entry clearance officer. The 3rd email is asking us to pay for IHS surcharge for my daughter.

Does anyone know what's happening now? Does it mean it's approved or still under consideration? I just asked this because others were asked to pay for their child's IHS and was approved.

Your thoughts on this please.

Thanks all.

Hi Lucky18,

Thanks for your post, good to know that we're on the same boat. I see your from the philippines? So is my wife except we're applying from Hong Kong for her and my daughter.

Do you know if they ask to pay for IHS for child, then it's positive? I see others here who posted and had positive results.

Good luck to you and all the best to us.

Hi lucky18,

Sorry for your first refusal, what was the reason for that if you don’t mind me asking? It’s vwry stressful if you don’t get it right the first time.

I hope your current application will be successful.

Since you’ve already paid for your child’s IHS on June 13, why don’t u follow up with them? Did u also email them to notify of the payment being made already?

Hi sevendust12,

It was indeed heartbreaking but then lets face it, we do encounter hurdles like this every now and then. In the end we still need to move on and try again, and yes hope this time after paying the IHS, the outcome will be different, and may the odds be on our favor. Best of luck for us.

We met all the criteria, except the financial eligibility, eco assumed that my husband is self employed, so they never consider his salary + savings, thats why we ended up being rejected.

After addressing eco's concern, we decided to submit another application and disregard the idea of appealing since it will take months maybe year for the whole process.

Regarding the IHS payment, after receiving the email I settled the account same day and forwarded the details to the email link attached. Wherein I received the receipt and acknowledgement from the IHS team.

Today is our 26 B.D from biometric.

Praying for positive results on our application, and all this waiting will be just a memory. I will keep you updated.

Hi Lucky,

Yes, fingers crossed that everything will be successful. I paid for the IHS yesterday and emailed them too. All I got was an automated email, nothing else. Is this what you got? Also did u email them the receipt? Or just details that it was paid already??

@sevendust12

Hi,
I also received the automated reply from them and the IHS receipt as well. I just followed the instructions given, then after paying I sent details to the IHS email link attached.

Then I tried to click the payment link sent to me, its already showing balance due (zero) so obviously the payment went through.

Hope to hear good news from Vac by 1st week of July.

Hi Lucky,

Thanks for the info. I just called the call centre to see if there are any updates, nothing at the moment. The lady said it's still waiting for a decision. They took some of our info down and will make an escalation, not sure if it'll help or anything.

Have you heard anything about your application yet? The waiting part is so nerve wrecking.

So far nothing yet, but I will definitely inform you if I got any news with our application.

If you have time to spare read the thread 'Still awaiting Decision" from pages 193 onwards... Cheers

Hi Sevendust,

I am just sharing you my not so useful update :)
Today 2nd of July marks our 32 B.D and I sent email to Ukvi international Enquiry to follow up about the status of our application.
The reply email I received was just like most of the applicants in this forum too, though I never received the not straightforward type of email.

*******
Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
With regards to your enquiry about the status of both your applications, I can confirm that your applications are being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.
If it has been over 15 working days for non- settlement applications or 60 working days for settlement applications, please provide the following details:
Full Name
Date of Birth
GWF number
IHS number
Passport number
Place of submission
Type of Visa applied for
Date of biometrics
Nationality
E-mail address used on application:
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.
Please note that we cannot provide case specific advice or pre-assess an application but we can provide information and support you through sign posting and website navigation. If you require more specific advice then please speak to a qualified immigration advisor.
*******
Hope to hear from them our good news soon. Best of luck for us and for the rest of the applicants waiting. Cheers

Hi Lucky,

Thanks for your update. We are both in the same boat, still waiting for the results even though we have already paid for our kids IHS.

I called again today, guy told me that it takes 60 working days for me since I haven’t paid for priority so I might get a decision on or before 1st week of August.

Guess we’ll have to play the waiting game.. I hope you’ll get some good news soon!!

Thanks again.

Hi All,

The wait is finally over for us and I’m happy to say that my wife and daughter's visas have been approved. It’s such a relief and I’m so grateful for all the members that have helped in answering my questions and for everyone's prayers.

This is my final timeline:

Application Category: Spouse (Wife) and 1 Child (Non priority)
Application Submitted Online: 12/May/2018
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Location): Hong Kong
Biometrics & Passport Submission (Date): 16/May/2018
Supporting Documents Sent To Sheffield On : tracking shows received on 22/May/2018
Acknowledgment Email: Received on 20/June/2018
IHS Payment Email: Received on 20/June/2018 for Daughter. Paid the amount the following day and emailed for confirmation.

Supporting Documents Received Back From Sheffield On : 27/June/2018
Employer Contacted By UKVI (if applicable): NA
Sponsor Contacted By UKVI (if applicable): NA

Decision Made : 6/August/2018
Contacted For Collection : 8/August/2018
Collection Made : 10/August/2018
Decision Of Application : Approved
Validity Of Visa: Valid till May 13, 2021

To everyone that’s still awaiting their approval, be patience and it will happen in due time. You all will be in my prayers and I hope that the visas will be approved and you’ll be reunited soon.

Thanks also to the Admins and @Londoner007 who helped answer alot of my repetitive questions.
