How to apply for my adopted daughter dependent visa to the UK

Post by chipo » Sun Jul 01, 2018 1:16 pm

I am living in the UK for the past 3 months on Tier 2 visa. I wish to bring my adopted daughter (only child) and my husband to join me in the UK.

I got married in 2006 and we started fostering our child when she was 6 months old in 2011 while we wait for the adoption process. Adoption process in Zimbabwe takes long. Finally 2 years ago we finally fully adopted our daughter who is now 7 years old.

My daughter has no known relatives since the birth mother just dumped her.

May you please assist me to know how I can bring both my daughter and my husband to the UK as my dependents.

What are the uk requirements to bring an already adopted child from Zimbabwe as a dependent. May I please have the list of documents needed.

Thank you in advance.

If the adoption went through the proper legal court process, you will need evidence of the adoption order.
