Hi Dec25born,

It won't be like that.... might be they might have got many applications or it could be due to some other problem... Did you call HO?

MsCrashed,

Go to
www.spammer.com/uk-immigration- ... plication/

You will be able to see who got their Ref#'s and you can also track the stats.
You should call the home office and ask them for the ref number.

And do not ever approach an agent for HSMP as they rip you off when it is something you can do yourself

That's over a month... I would suggest calling the Home Office.

12th March applicants

Post by bentley » Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:41 am

Hi Sameer,

I have seen today in the site www.spammer.com/discuss/hsmpi/11369167/
, one guy(shashidhar) has got the approval and he applied from India. His ref no, is 2565**. It seems that HO has started picking up the applications submitted around 12 th March.

this wait is really nail biting.

Thanks Bently.

My reference number is 2568**/**. Very close to that of Shashidhar (2565**)

I guess I should be hearing from HO soon. Actually I flown to US couple of weeks back on a business trip. Problem is I will be in US for next two months.

I had arranged my documents to be picked up by www.hsmp-services.co.uk and they been very unprofessional. I will call up HO tomorrow to check the status.

An idea weather HO entertain status queries over the phone ?

Thanks
Sameer

My application was received on the 13th of March 2008 with a reference number of 25650X ....

Seeing a case on trackiit www.spammer.com/discuss/hsmpi/11369167/ who has got an approval with a very similar reference number as mine, I believe my wait is nearing an end... ! (fingers crossed)

I called HO today to listen to the auto-message that said application upto the following date are currently considered - 28th of Feb.

I've noticed that they always run a week or two ahead of the recorded date !

Wish me luck guys ... .and I wish the same for all.

Hi people,

I have applied from South Korea. My time-line looks something like this:

20th March 2008 - DHL Courier left Seoul, South Korea
25th March 2008 - DHL delivered
26th March 2008 - Credit card charged
No receipt
No reference number

22nd April 2008 - Send e-mail to HO
23rd April 2008 - HO replied with standard e-mail (we will not provide application acknowledgements or reference numbers).

Tried to call a couple of times, but not successful.
Any suggestions, please!

Seems like sometimes HO does not send the reference number as a standard procedure.

Same thing happened with me.

I replied to standard HO email saying my friend with same timeline has got his reference number so I am worried weather my application is on right track.

Then I got the mail with reference number. But it will be good idea to make sure that other people from your country with same timelines got the reference number before you send the mail.

Regards
Sameer

March!

Post by justy » Mon May 12, 2008 5:37 am

Surely we must be getting close, this is getting just a bit ridiculous, middle of May and they are just finishing off February. Let's hope they don't have as many March applications and they get through them a bit quicker!!

March applicant. New update on Tier process

Post by skommoju » Wed May 14, 2008 5:11 am

Hey! has anyone gone thru the new update available on homeoffice website: http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco ... ernewrules
Does it apply only for Tier2 &5 people or does it apply for Tier1 also?

Yeah we have.
Its NOT for Tier 1. Its for Tier 2 which is Work Permit and there arent any significant changes because even last year they had to prove that they had looked for and not found suitable UK candidates.

It has nothing to do with Tier 1/HSMP.

I've sent my application from India

12th March - Sent thru FedEx
17th March - Delivered to Homeoffice

But no reference number or communication back there onwards. Confused and worried about whats happenning. Tried calling many times, it goes to voice msg and replys that no status will be provided.
Has anyone in the same time frame got ref number or approval.

Have to be outside of the UK during application?

Post by cutie » Fri May 16, 2008 11:51 am

Guys,

I need some advice. I will be putting in my application under HSMP next month. I am currently working in the UK under a dependent visa (of my husband) and the visa is valid until mid next year. I know that I have to post the application from outside of the UK. But my confusion lies whether I can come back and continue working in the UK while my application is being considered by the case workers. Obviously, I still hold a valid visa to work but what effect will it have on my application for not being outside the UK while my application is being processed. The process will be between 4-14weeks, and I will be out of job by the time i come back here if I am away for that long, that does not include the waiting time for EC. All my correspondence address will be outside of the UK, where my family is based, so that the HO can send anythg to that address and I will go back and apply for EC.

Please advice or point me to the right person to talk to. HO is not the best advisor...i have received different versions of advice every time i call them.

Thank you

Have anyone received their approval that applied in March? Mine was received end of March and it looks like it will take forever. Would be interested to see if anyone else has had any success

yeah you are right... it looks like it is going to take forever.

I have noticed a drastic drop in processing times after Jan'08.

I applied in Mid March'08 and have still to hear on a decision.

I can definitely say that the average response time to a decision these days is 90 days. (Outside UK application)

All we can do is wait... wait and wait.... !!!
