Child Citizenship

Post by vlabathomas » Fri Apr 06, 2018 7:13 pm

My child was born in UK in 2015 while my husband was on his tier 2. He recently got his ILR and i've made aware the child can now apply for citizenship. Is this correct ?

What documents do i need to produce for this application and which form should i use.

One more question

If my husband takes a job which pays less than 36K from next month or he resigns from his job without another job would that affect the child's citizen ship application at all ?

Referee for Child

Post by vlabathomas » Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:46 pm

I'm trying to apply citizenship for my child born in UK. Husband got his ILR so i think she is eligible for Citizenship now .

I was filling the form but this says it need a refree
"
One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a
professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of
religion. "

She goes to a nursery so i was wondering if i give we can give nursery care taker details or someonein nursery as a first refree . Can you confirm ?

Referee - 1st and 2nd

Post by vlabathomas » Sun Jul 01, 2018 3:31 pm

Trying to fill in MN1 application for child, and it asks for 2 refrees

One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a
professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of
religion.

Can we add the nursery manager as the 1st refree as she goes to nursery ?

Who is minister of religion - A priest in a local church. does he need to be british at all ?
priest is on tier 2 in UK.

Who else can we add..?

Yes to both questions but they mustknow the child.

The professional referee does not have to be British but must know the child as stated.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
