I am also in similar situation, biometrics on 14-03-18, escalated last month on 14th still no sign of any outcome! 15 days after escalation is just round the corner but no update, thinking of contacting local mp if I didn't hear anything this week.

Online application: 15.03.2018
Non priority
Biometrics done 19. 03.2018
Email from Sheffield:application received in Sheffield 4.04.2018
Phoned to UkVi for information on 8.06.2018and told decision is not made but call us again on Monday 11.06.2018
My solicitor e-mailed them on 12.06.2018 and received in 30 minutes after email. As decision is made on 11.06.2018 and wait for later info emails. After 10working days I called again to ask why is so delay to send our passport and documents.
They escalate case 22.06.2018 and told to wate up to 15 working days. 29.06.2018 solicitor send second email to ask information and received answer : ,,Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
With regards to your enquiry, your application is currently under review, you will be contacted if any extra information is needed.
Your patience is highly appreciated.
Please note that the onus is upon individual customers to ensure that they satisfy the requirements set out in the guidance material. The guidance material accompanies each and every application form. UK Visa and Immigration is not able to give, indicate or advise upon the outcome of any such application prior to it being given full and careful consideration." Then we replay and send copy of previous email where was written as decision is made and asked to confirm which one is correct. No answer received yet. AND
Today 2.06.2018 we received email from VISAINFO.SHEFO@fco.gov.uk

A decision was made on your application on 02 July 2018 and you will be contacted shortly regarding the return of your documents.
If you have any further enquiries, please visit our website at www.GOV.UK
few hours later received second email
,,Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.
If it has been over 15 working days for non- settlement applications or 60 working days for settlement applications, please provide the following details:
Full Name
Date of Birth
GWF number
IHS number
Passport number
Place of submission
Type of Visa applied for
Date of biometrics
Nationality
E-mail address used on application:
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents."
But I think second email is scam and hope email is from Sheffield is true.

The company was my husband's work
Closing down .
The issue P45 for him.
But he moved to another business for same boss.
They say he should wait on the same business six month that's why they refuse.
so what u add in new applicattion for asss proof
All the letter from New company
And he is stay six months on the new business and after that we apply for the visa.
So new application when u submeted and u received any call from ho and u did priority application or normal
Normal application
Yes he received a interview call from home office
And they call on the workplace at same-day he was working there and they have an interview with business owner.

I received my docs yesterday... it was all there !! They also inserted an automated printout letter stating that it is absolutely normal to receive the docs back before the decision is made on the via application etc. So I emailed homeoffice yesterday to ask them the status of my application. They replied back to my wife this morning stating that the decision has been made and we have to wait to hear instructions from the VAC office.

So my wife received a text message from the VAC office saying application “ref” has been processed with today’s date. Now we are just waiting to when she can actually collect the passport..!!

@nabeela biometric was done on 10th May at Lahore and it’s a priority service I opted for.

Good luck guys, this whole process is painful.

Hi all
I called UKVI call centre on 14th of June and escalated case. Than on 20th of June I had a phone call from HO. Later on 26th of June received an email from Sheffield Stating.....

"Dear Khan,Thank you for your enquiry regarding your application process.
Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale. We are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made, however I have escalated this to the appropriate Entry Clearance team so that it can be progressed as quickly as possible"

last night I just thought let me call the call centre and see any updates. The guy I spoke to he said the decisions has been made, wait for the instructions from the VFS within next few days. I asked him when was it made because 2 days ago I received an email which was different. He said he dont have the date, it only showing the decisions has made. Very strange Please everyone make dua I will do the same. I pray at the end everyone gets positive response, Insha'Allah!

Insha'Allah, and if you don't hear anything by this week or next week, try contact your MP, as its over 30 working days. My wife's visa they made the decision on 28th of June, and I had a phone Interview regarding my 2nd job was on 20th June. I was really worried Interview was about 40 mins and he asked so many Questions about 2nd job and my income was only £2000. I was so nervous and asking myself why he keep asking about that as my main job covers the threshold of £18600. (Don't know why my solicitor told me to show that 2nd job) anywhere. My main job... I am self employed and Income was £19500 he never asked anything regarding my main job.

So far nothing today marks our 32 BD, I emailed the Ukvi international contact centre and received a generic email from them.

Looks like I need to wait longer this time, hope in another 2 weeks or maybe less to hear the good news about our visa.
Best of luck to us and the rest of the applicants who had been waiting to be reunited with their loveones. May our good God hear our prayers.

Did you receive an email stating “your application is not straight forward”?

This email usually comes through on the 12th week from biometrics.

Have you tried contacting Home Office to ask the status of the application?

Last night i called UKVI again. Found out nothing new. However, the call agent said that UKVI have a staff shortage and additional numbers were being brought in. She said she wasnt using this as a excuse. She also said they have access to limited information due to security reasons and they worked for a private organisation and not UKVI.

I have concluded that calling UKVI multiple times is pointless. Once the call operator escalates the case then theres nothing much we can do. The call operators are useless but i dont blame them.

They are not 'useless', merely do a job, fielding 1000's of calls a day, often with repetitive answers to applicants. There is only so much they can do or say. It is a known fact that the call centre is a third party agent. You cannot realistically expect all of the call centre staff to be qualified level 3 immigration advisors with full access to your entire application information.

I understand what you say. I know the call operators are not at fault. They are doing their job with limited information.
The people at fault are UKVI. Everything would be so much simple and easy if call operators worked directly for UKVI. Thats why i said its pointless in calling them.
