Hi gmhsmp,

Thanks for the message. I am planning to apply for EC this month. As the rules have been changed, I have understood that not all the documents mentioned below (as required before Tier1 rule) are required now as we apply under Tier 1 with less charge.

However, it seems you have applied with all the required documents as it was necessary during HSMP EC process. Is it mandatory or did you sent as an additional proofs. Please advice.

Thanks.

@ Phani .. I applied as per old rules(Not tier1), so no 3 months requirement(however i had that money for the last 3 months). If u already have approval letter, u can apply as per old rules, i got this info when i mailed to <vfsuk.south@vfs-uk-in.com>.

@ Sweety .. I sent documents as per old rules, they are required for EC.
Im pretty clueless about Tier1 rules.

hi guys,

I'm going to apply for ec with my wife and the baby. Just swa this thread and wondering what is "Duly filled Integra verification form + copy of it
Duly filled Hsmp Performa form + copy of it "

I have had the approval in April, so I have all the original documents, last 3 months bank statements upto 9th April, last 3+ pay slips, letter from employer, and will have the latest p60 document as I'm currently working in the uk.

Hi Guys,

Please dont rely on what VFS is saying. The Maintenance funds rules is very tricky.

I applied from VFS Bangalore and they told me to show proof of minimum
funds of 2800 for last 3 months.

Mail your queries directly to High commision @ Chennai.VisaEnquiry@fco.gov.uk.

Dont assume you dont have to show the minimum required.

Applied for EC under tier 1 (hsmp approved): April 25th ( VFS bangalore)

Very eagerly waiting for expert guidance.

cskmail wrote:Hi,

I had obtained HSMP approval but my EC got rejected.

Reason provided to me by ECO is

I do not hold GBP 2800 for three months.

I have deposited some GBP 4600 in my bank account and taken bank statement after two days. I was not aware that I require to show a minimum balance of GBP 2800 for minimum three months.

Does anybody know this rule is mentioned anywhere in any UK Home Office document or website. If you know this, please let me know.

I have sent an email for an Administrative Review. It had already been eight days, but there is no response.

In addition to this, my original HSMP Approval letter and original bank statements are not returned. I had applied through VFS New Delhi.

I had inquired about the missing documents, I had sent an email to visqry.newdelhi@fco.gov.uk, vfsuk.north@vfs-uk-in.com, postmaster.nedel@fco.gov.uk, ten days ago, but there is no reply. These people are very clumsy and slow.

Can any one, please guide me about my next steps. I feel cheated.

Thanks
Charukant

All,

Have withdrawn my application for fear of a rejection as I did not maintain the 3 months funds clause...will re-apply after 3 months...

All the very best...
