10 year Long residence

Post by iceman010899 » Sat May 03, 2008 2:14 pm

Hello,

I will be applying for ILR based on 10 years legal residence, 6 years a diplomatic dependent and 4 years as a student.

I dont have any gaps, etc.

What sort of questions would the caseworker ask ?

The caseworker doesn't really ask questions like in an interview. He will ask you for your documents and maybe clarify any grey areas that he comes across.

hi

Got my ILR ! took 4 hours, but its worth it. Can anyone confirm that the current student visa will be automatically cancelled once the ILR is issued ?

Thanks.

Hi

Thanks.

They only checked the passport stamps and dates I was out of the UK. They asked for 3 months bank statements as well.

They did not give me a letter though. So I sent a letter and requested for one.
