Thanks cmosuk.

When is the earliest date I can apply for peo appointment? For example if I am completing 6 years of dlr on 26 October 2018 , what would be the confirmed date I start to book a peo appointment? Is it 45 days before 29 September 2018?

Look forward to hearing from you.

You cannot apply for ilr any sooner than within 28 days before reaching 6 years.

Appointments are visible and available to Book up to 45 days in advance in most cases.

Thanks CR001.

Does that mean if for example : I am completing 6 years discretionary leave on 26th October 2018, I make book a premium service appointment from 15th August 2018 (45 days before 29th September 2018) onwards for the appointment to be any day after 29th September 2018 (this date is 28 days before the expiry of discretionary leave)?

Look forward to hearing from you.

If you are completing 6 years DLR on 26th October 2018, you may apply 28 days before of within this date, on this case 28 September 2018.

You can start booking for your appoint at a premium service centre 45 days in advance either from your expiry date of DLR or within the 28 days or within of completing your qualifying period bracket.

Basically you should look for appointments 28 September 2018 onwards and before expiry of your current Leave to remain.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.

Thank you Cmosuk for your response.

So how does it? I am not doing on the online version of the application form.

So on the day of the PEO appointment, I believe that I need to take with me the completed SET (O) form, all supporting documents and application fees by either cheque, cash or credit/debit card? Is that right?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Visa fees won't be accepted at the PSC. You need to pay these online before the appointment.

Thanks casa.

So let me get this right. When making the online appt for PSC, I am required to pay £2397 application fees & £610 same day service fees? Is that right?

As I am not submitting the online version of SET (O) Form, I will need to take with me the completed paper version of SET (O) form and all supporting documents to the PEO appointment. Is that right?

Thank you Casa.

I require some clarification in relation to the question on penalties. In October 2015, I had jumped red traffic light and caught out on camera. I was offered either to pay fixed penalty fee of £100.00 and get 3 penalty points on the driving licence or attend a course as part of the what's Driving us scheme.

I attended the course and received no points on my licence. I am now confused on how I should answer the below questions:

7.1 Have you, or any dependants who are applying with you, ever been convicted of any criminal
offence in the UK or any other country?
You must give details of all criminal convictions, including spent convictions. This includes
convictions for road traffic offences, including drink-driving offences, but not fixed penalty notices
(such as speeding or parking tickets).

Yes go to question 7.2 No go to question 7.3

7.3 Have you, or any dependants who are applying with you, been subject to, or received, any
other penalty in relation to a criminal offence; for example caution, reprimand, warning, or similar
penalties in the UK or any other country?

Yes go to question 7.4 No go to question 7.5

Could someone please help.

7-10 days, as the letter you got would clearly state. Sometimes it is quicker, sometimes it takes longer!

Hello Moderators,

I got my ILR in October 2018. Can someone please advise what is the next step required to apply for naturalisation. I understand English test and life in the uk test is a requirement for naturalisation. Can someone advise which English test I have to take and at where I can find test centres? I have already passed life in the UK test a few years back. Thank you.

Please post your British citzenship questions in the British Citizenship sub forum as they aren't relevant to the ILR sub forum.
