Urgent - Please help - ILR immigration stamping missinng

Post by vijier1 » Fri May 09, 2008 7:43 am

Hi,
I came to the UK on 11 Jun 2003 on WP. I went on holiday to India for 3 weeks on 28 Mar 2004 and came back on 20 Apr 2004. My passport has Indian immigration entries on my passport for these days. But, unfortunately the UK immigration stamping is missing for these days.

I remember there were a few posts about missing immigration stamping on the passport in this forum. But, couldnt locate them now. I am planning to send my ILR application next week.

Can you please let me know if this will be an issue? What other supporting evidences can I provide in this case??

I dont have my flight boarding passes as it was in 2004.

Please please help!

You can get a letter from your employer stating that you were in-country during that period.

Perhaps the Immigration Officers were still on strike?

hi

This happened to me as well. Get your landing cards from BIA and have bank statements for the dates you were here. And in a letter explain to them that the immigration officer did not stamp the passport.

Also check you have embarkation stamps from the country you left from.

Hi,
Thanks for all your reply. Yes, I do have embarkation stamp from the country I left. I will try to get the Landing card from BIA.

Please could someone tell me how long it would take?
